1-Lebanese made it clear that they dont want to give this system another chance
For decades the ruling class &system did nothing but destroy the country
Why wait 3months before imposing sanctions? What they did to beirut isn’t enough?
Why not cooperate with the US on this matter?

2-“escalation”
U don’t make a deal with the devil and expect stability. Its putting stability over sovereignty that got us here
Obamas soft policy against Iran got us here
Macrons going back to this soft policy instead of asking the EU to designate all of Hezb as a t errorist org

3- Just like Hezbollah vetoed Nawaf Sallam it will veto any path to real reforms
Ofcourse macron cant nominate a pm but he could have negotiated with them behind closed doors: Nawaf or sanctions instead of reforms or sanctions
*The same warlords are not capable of making reforms*

4- The whole situation reminds me of the Syrian (assad) occupation of Lebanon.
Foreign countries for years closed their eyes to the violation of our sovereignty for the sake of “stability”
They are doing the same today.
I understand that many foreign policy in the middle east-

5-backfired&caused more chaos
But saving a corrupt(&illegitimate after 14oct)ruling class for the sake of “Stability/no escalation”is criminal
The way they treated protestors is enough to impose sanctions

what macron is doing will help leb short term but longterm it will kill us

6-If he really wanted to save us his priority would be to end the Iranian occupation
But Frances' interests in the Mediterranean will of course come first.
