Hia, yes of course. A window display is only one way of supporting or promoting a book (there are many!). Our window displays are known widely because of the photos. It's lovely for the people who happen to live locally, but it is the photos that really help spread the word 1/
2/ I get dozens of requests from authors and publishers every week to do displays for their books. Loads of the books are really good and all are valid and valuable and deserve to be supported. So my awful task is to choose from among them! Firstly, the book needs to look right..
3/ Dark colours and mat finishes, while looking dramatic, tend to disappear behind the reflective glare on glass. So I totally love the book called Thornhill, and I've done loads to support and promote it - but I will never do a window display for it as it is mat and black!
