A police officer runs ahead of his line, tackles a protester, and starts punching them on the ground
Here is the longer clip of the second bull rush, this is the second incident tonight of police officers punching protestors on the ground
Police officer tells Dustin Brandon he’s hitting him with his wheel chair, Brandon says “don’t play that shit”
Minutes later Dustin Brandon is arrested
Protestor dragged some outdoor Restuarnt chairs and tables into the street, one table was briefly on fire

Portland police are telling anyone who isn’t press that their subject to arrest for being in the area while a riot is declared. Their strategy the past couple weeks has been to make a bunch of arrests, whether the charges stick or not.
Multnomah county DA Mike Schmidt said protestors charged with non-violent/non-property destruction crimes would not be prosecuted if it was in participation of protest; things like interfering with a police officer or violating a city ordinance
Portland police seem to be making large numbers of arrests each night. For example there were less than 200 people at last nights protest, but 29 arrest. Roughly 10%-30% of the crowd each night is getting arrested
Chris wise the medic, in an Obama impersonation, tells police he’ll quit if police can go 7 days without brutalizing a protestor
