This guy created a solution to one of the biggest challenges many Americans have face or will face in the Coronavirus Pandemic. It’s Homelessness.

Many Americans were financially rescued by the first stimulus package plan. Whether you were a business owner, Uber driver, construction worker, or average joe the Cares Act had some impact on your life.

To some the stimulus package was a 1,200 check, ppp loans, edil grants, or unemployment benefits. For most it was a way to keep food on the table, electricity, and water running. The Act placed rent on hold and allowed many families to eat another day.

I am in no way saying this is all we need to survive this pandemic. I strongly support a second and third (if possible) stimulus package.

I am simply saying that this gave the American people hope that we could survive this pandemic. That hope was short lived after the unemployment benefits were gone, rent holds ended, and the 1,200 was spent.

We looked to the leaders that came together in crisis and provided for the American people before, they turned their well dressed backs. Arguments of means, fiscal responsibility, and unemployment crutches had began to outweigh the American people’s need for help.

Maybe the cries for help had gone unnoticed, as many government officials packaged up their offices for a 31 day vacation. All the while, Americans were getting evicted having no where to turn. As the shadow of homelessness began to creep closer to our doorsteps.

It is simple. We need help and not in another 31 days vacation. We need it today. No one likes the feeling of not knowing where the next meal will come from or if it is even coming. While, the government officials eat whatever their heart’s desire on our starving & evicted dime.
