Not sure if there’s been an uptick in online harassment or I’m just getting tagged in posts recently. Nonetheless, I have some thoughts for you on the subject.
Victims of online harassment feel a strong urge to correct the record when bullies spread lies.

Who wouldn’t? Reputation is everything. When yours is jeopardized, you’ll want to defend it.
Weigh your options before engaging.

Why? The trolls are perfecting their techniques and tactics. They have a lot of time on their hands.

If you defend yourself, you could be walking right into a trap. 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♀️🚶‍♀️
Before you react to an online harasser, remember this phrase:

“Living well is the best revenge”
Trolls will be trolls. Some of them will justify their actions to no end. They will refuse to acknowledge the harm they are causing.

It’s torture.

Focus your energy on what you can control. Do your best. I know it’s tough.
You can control your narrative.

Instead of “setting the record straight” for your audience, live well. Let people come to their own conclusions.

Your behavior will speak for itself...as will the behavior of your tormentors.
