This dumb lieutenant with his TikTok video is making me think about how fast acceptable Arrmy language has changed.

For example, my first Squadron Commander would regularly say “That’s Gay” about something he didn’t like.

And we all accepted it!

It got out that one of my fellow LTs had voted for Obama and my SCO was like “He’s Gay”. At a hail and farewell, in front of his family and everyone.

And in 2016 I was riding with a fellow CPT who said he “Jewed Down” somebody over the price of an RV. And I just told him to knock that shit off instead of reporting it. Because it is hard to ruin the career of a peer.

Anyway, it’s more widespread than you might think.
