Mako because he's practical and strategic. I mean seriously, Mako doesn't taunt his opponents to do their worst and literally the first time we meet Mako while he's probending, he lets his opponents tire themselves out and THEN attacks, easily winning the game. 1/2 https://twitter.com/firelorddany/status/1300573114116571136

Plus Mako is pretty good at playing offense AND defense. He's light on his feet and does pretty well at dodging attacks. He's a quick thinker (his final fight with Ming Hua and when he shot Amon with lightning) and honestly we don't give him enough credit as a talented firebender

Mako isn't a crazy talented bender like Azula and he probably couldn't best a really good firebender like Uncle Iroh (Mako is still pretty young), so I don't think for this fight, any of them would be defeating the other IMMEDIATELY. The two would put up a really good fight. 3/4

I just think in the long run, Mako would win because Mako knows how to use his surroundings to his advantage, is more grounded as a person and bender, and seems to calculate his what his next move will be before attacking. 4/4
