The story in the first tweet in this thread is from May 2017 in the Washington Post. In July 2018 in Helsinki Trump then sided with Putin and trashed the US intelligence agencies. That’s about as Donald-Trump-is-a-Russian-agent as it gets. #maddow

Here’s the video where, as I mentioned in the first tweet in this thread, Donald Trump says “I think that the United States has been foolish.” He specifies the United States. An American “president”, I mean, a Russian asset. No president calls their own country foolish. #maddow
