RTs are appreciated.
Despite their name, Boards of Canada are not from Canada. In fact these boys are from Scotland. Members are Marcus Eoin and Michael Sandison.

The name of Boards of Canada was taken and inspired from National Film Board of Canada where the brothers are mostly inspired from.
Early experimentations of music occur during the late 1980s where they would release few records here and there with tape machinery and cut up samples.

Their early works counts of such as Catalog 3 (1987), Acid Memories (1989), Closes Vol. 1 (1992)
