A useless thread about the colors in my (so far) very short life:

From the moment I can remember, my fav color was eggplant purple.But my mom said that children were supposed to like “bright” & “happy” colors, & since I tried very hard to be on my mom’s good side as a kid, once I realized lilac existed in kindergarten, that was my new fav color

In 1st grade, all of the girls used to fight over a pink book simply bc it was pink.I got involved bc I was curious about what the fuss was about & learned that girls are ‘supposed’ to like pink, so I said that was my new fav color.I now hate it w/ every fiber of my existence

After my favorite grandmother died, I realized that I wasn’t very close with my grandfather, so in an attempt to bond with him, I declared that my favorite color was blue simply because that was his favorite color. This period did not last very long. I forget how old I was.

Growing up, my childhood bff’s fav color was green & that was a huge constant in my childhood as my fav color kept changing. When we were preteens tho, he said he liked blue, so in order to preserve my childhood, I declared my fav color to be green. It hasn’t changed since

So yeah, that’s the end of my journey through colors. You may now proceed with whatever you were doing which was undoubtedly *much* more important and interesting than this thread could ever be.
