Human Design introduced to me the idea of a Subconscious birth chart. I want to talk about the Subconscious Moon because it will literally show you how you process your emotions and what drives you on a subconscious level. You can look at it through Astrology or Human Design
You can calculate your Subconscious Chart in Astrology simply by taking your birth day/time and going back exactly 88 Sun Degrees (that's about 88 days). Your HD Body Graph will automatically show you where your Subconscious Moon is so you might as well just look at that
Now my Conscious Moon (in Tropical) is a 4H Cancer Moon. I have an Aries Subconscious Moon that's in my Conscious Chart's 1st House. My Conscious Moon is in my Subconscious Chart's 11th House. That alone can tell you plenty
What I REALLY wanted to look at was the Human Design Gate the Subconscious Moon is in. It's circled in the image. Mine is Gate 25 in HD. Just to give a simplified explanation, it's all about retaining innocence/purity despite any circumstance/experience that arises in life
It's really ironic considering that my Subconscious Moon is in my Conscious Chart's 1st House. Gate 25 is my DRIVING FORCE in life. I am meant to have crazy experiences (and I have) & gain wisdom out of it. I'm meant to retain my innocence despite any BS that I keep going through
Gate 25 is a lot like The Fool Tarot Card. It's all about fully accepting who you are & the circumstances you find yourself in no matter how good or bad. This is what drives me, this is what I subconsciously do when processing my emotions. I am forced to accept my circumstances

Now the NEXT step into figuring out more about your Subconscious Moon is by seeing which part of your body graph it's in. Mine is in this Yellow Diamond called the Identity Center. So what Subconsciously drives me in general & emotionally is my Identity & Direction in life
On a Subconscious level (emotionally speaking) I am always concerned with my Identity & my Direction. In HD, the Moon is more your driving force than anything. But I use that meaning AND the Astrology meaning for covering how we process & go about our emotions
So our Subconscious Moon would cover what SUBCONSCIOUSLY drives us in general AND emotionally. The Conscious Moon would just be the Conscious drives, things we actively think about and process
You can look at it that way in Astrology. My Conscious Moon is a Cancer Moon. So emotionally, I have a hard shell. I'm pretty soft on the inside though! You could say it gives me a motherly instinct in a sense. Now my Subconscious Aries Moon makes me more aggressive/impulsive
The Aries Moon in me wants to charge forward and go fast (on a Subconscious level). The Cancer Moon likes to go with the flow & be comfortable. Consciously, I'm trying to nurture my environment & keep it stable/balanced. Subconsciously, I want to keep moving forward & change shit
You can honestly use Astrology with Human Design in a crazy amount of ways. It's groundbreaking when you use both
