📬 Last Friday, postmaster general Louis DeJoy told Congress that he doesn’t plan to reverse already-implemented cuts to service.

Let’s go over these political attacks on the USPS, once again.
So far, drastic cuts to the USPS include shortened office hours and have resulted in some cases of delays or undelivered mail.
The USPS is critical every year — and this year we need it to provide COVID-19 information and supplies, deliver medication and unemployment benefits, and ensure that we can all vote by mail.
‼️ Want to take action? Here’s three steps you can take RIGHT NOW to help save the USPS and protect our rights. ⬇️
1⃣ Despite these changes, the USPS retains capacity to handle the surge in mail-in voting expected this fall. If possible, request your ballot as soon as possible, and vote early.

You can learn more about voting by mail in your state here. http://aclu.org/voter
2⃣ Recently, the House passed a bill to protect the USPS and provide it with the funding it needs to guarantee a safe and functioning democracy.

Take 2 minutes to demand that your senators do the same. http://aclu.org/saveusps
