The Siege of Las Qoray

A THREAD; https://twitter.com/ishaaqist/status/1300214604287610882">https://twitter.com/ishaaqist...
Lately I’ve been seeing a lot of Somali youth who promote qabiil fkd on the tl, they form groups and fight over irrelevant things. Seeking comfort in manipulating history for their own satisfaction and qabiil ego.
I honestly laughed when I came across this post, he addressed a national movement with qabiil. Nothing new, I heard something similar before called Somaliland aka “Isaaqland” but that’s for another time. In this post, he complains about darod revisionism and how dervish history-
is made up. He made a claim that “dervish isaaq” were responsible for the things that happened in Las Khorey.

He contradicted himself saying in one source that Ibrahim Boghul was leading the dervish battalion to Las Qoray when the Sultan clearly stated that it was the Sayid.
Warsangeli subclans withdrew their loyalty from Ina Ali Shirreh, the Bih idoor subclan being the first. It states that the sayid needed the bih Idoor to capture warsangeli lands as Ina Ali Shirreh kept losing the support of Warsangelis.
Sayid was a national hero in my opinion, but there’s clear proof that sayid had a goal of his own. Building his own empire, Ina Ali Shire and Boqor Cismaan have seen him as a threat and decided to settle aside their differences to deal with Sayidka.
As the sayid grew his forces, he captured Badhan. The cumar and ciise maxamuuds of majeerten who were against boqor cismaan have decided to join the dervish movement too. The dervish captured Badhan before they besieged Las Qoray.
Las Qoray was besieged, the garaad resisted the dervish forces for 4 days even tho the casualty was high with 300 women and kids killed.

But after the defeat of the dervish in Las Qoray.

The so called “HJ dervish” have been killed by Dervish on their way back.
It states that the dervish have “vented” on them after their defeat in Las Qoray.

What happened to the so called HJ dervish?
That’s not the first time the dervish have committed such atrocities like that against the poor HJ tribe.
Even historians are still baffled how the Warsangeli ran a independent operation in Somalia recognized as Maakhir at the same time was one of the major tribes who took part of the Dervish movement.
Warsangeli raids were interfered by the British due to the British treaty, but presumed under the Sayids banner too. Warsangelis were unmeasurably superior, the same writer of certain sources u posted said that.
I see Dervish as a national movement, and if anyone I give the most credit too is my dhulbahante cousins who sacrificed themselves the most.

HJ claim Dervish as their own history excluding everyone. The funny part the only HJ Man U guys mention being a part of Dervish is the-
I would love to discuss how irrelevant my HJ neighbors are today, since history repeated itself but u in a worser condition than before.

I would like to end this politely without no disrespect.
