During this pandemic, I’ve gained 2 certifications and 1 license. I walked away from a toxic career I thought I’d never have the courage to do. I’ve started and quit 3 jobs, not lasting more than a week at each. I’ve applied for what feels like 100 jobs, 90% of them ghosted me.
I regained my mental health. I reached out to and befriended someone I consider my mentor now, who’s fed me continuous positivity and hope. I landed a job with a company I’ve been applying for years to join. I found courage to start the next steps in my life: marriage, kids, etc.
I know times are dark, but just know that this too shall pass. Believe in yourself. Dive out on a limb, take a leap of faith. Pursue your dreams. Life is so short. Love the people who support you and MOST importantly, don’t place a career over your mental health.
Take care of yourself and invest in yourself! ❤️
