About 2 years ago is when I started taking my craft seriously. At this same time I was charging $5 shape-ups and $10 Fades and Regular cuts. I started cutting hair in a little hallway in my basement. I used my living-room lamp which I stole from my mom and only used what I had.
I felt more confident in my work so I moved to my garage. I would charge about $10 for everything here.
A very good friend and brother had faith in my skill and saw things I didn’t @hey__ozzy He never let me give up and bought me my first two pair of intermediate Clippers where I performed well on my first model which led me my first position at my very first Barbershop!
There I worked really really hard but the money wasn’t enough because I didn’t have enough Clients. So I picked up a second job at Wendy’s. So I would do a double everyday to both have money in my pocket and get my Clientele up (it was tough)
I made it comfortable to my own liking and tried to make it feel like my own Barbershop. I named it “TheWaleShop
.”
