GK: Freddie Woodman

Best in the league: David Raya

Woodman showed great promise in his first season at the club. Another season in the championship will do wonders for his career, and with Benda as backup, Swansea look extremely comfortable for depth between the posts.

RWB: Connor Roberts
Rank: 7th
Best: Matty Cash

Roberts has suited the new 3ATB system and as a result he looked like a much better player compared to just a few months ago. The reason he’s far down is because I’m unsure if he’s capable of true consistency. One to watch, for sure

CB: Joe Rodon

LWB: Jake Bidwell

Bryan’s departure from the championship simply accelerated Jake’s takeover of the league. Bidwell is simply incomparable with the other bums that flounder in this league, I was tempted to not even name a second place. Fear him.

DM: Matt Grimes

Second best: Christian Nørgaard

Not much needed for this one. The best defensive numbers, best passing stats, great forward progression with the ball, simply the best in the league at what he does. Don’t be surprised to see him at a top 6 club next year

AM: Morgan Gibbs-White
Rank: 7th
Best: Lee Tomlin

Realistically I haven’t seen much of him at all, but he’s saucy so he’s comfortably top 10 at the least. Expect to surpass Tomlin in the near future after consistent gametime

Best: Bryan Mbeumo

Was not even debatably the second best in the entire league after lockdown. Coming into his element this year, potentially another one to push for first place. Sauce on tap fam
