Look, if you don’t want workers to feel alienated from their labor, there’s another choice that *isn’t* trying to make work into a religion. Just saying.

The credulity on display here is a bit troubling. With some very small exceptions, corporations haven’t committed to social justice or anti-racism. Ritualizing shitty jobs is just another con.
