Read on Twitter
I really want to address this anonymity issue. I posted this in some people& #39;s mentions but the reason I don& #39;t use my real name is:Trump. On FB I was quite vocal about Trump but it& #39;s a circle of trust. I voted for Bernie. I& #39;m pretty sure more than half of my friends did as well.
I used my real name on Twitter. I& #39;ve written for Haaretz and Lilith. It& #39;s in my interest to tweet under my real name. But when I found out Trump& #39;s people were monitoring social media accounts, rather than be accused of deep state, I deleted my Twitter account.
I scrubbed my FB account because I didn& #39;t want to lose contacts. You have no idea how long it takes to delete years of posts talking about how much you hate Trump. I decided to Tweet under a pseudonym. I figured with my newly found freedom I would troll Bibi (no seriously).
I definitely tweet in a way that I wouldn& #39;t if I were using my real name (although what& #39;s wrong with tweeting at Melanija "eat shit" in Serbian?). But I don& #39;t know that tweeting under your name makes you any less vicious.
I& #39;ve called out Ilana b/c she accused Carly, who was mistaken for a Black woman, of blackface. Ilana claimed Carly pretended to be a Black woman, which is slanderous. It& #39;s also disgusting considering she& #39;s the mother of a bi-racial child. I defended Carly. She& #39;s a mensch.
Ilana called me misogynistic names and I blocked her. I seriously don& #39;t remember any of you raging against her bullying behavior. Not because I believe it& #39;s appropriate. But if you& #39;re going to be indignant about bullying on Twitter, at least be consistent.
Finally, If I have ever tweeted anything that brought you any kind of pain, I& #39;m sorry.
