K so i have done MOUNTAINS of research on this #KickVic and #IStandWithVic situation and I have reached an unavoidable conclusion.
#KickVic unfortunately was lying from day 1. (thread)
Im sure most people in the discourse now the details already. Tldr Monica rail, jamie marchi and many others accused Vic mignogna of sexual assault. It started with a twiter "helina" spreading the rumor and most people in FUNIMATION ran with it.
However the more i dug the more i looked like the rumors were just that, rumors. The very first one found in the KickVic list is a deviant art post of a fan hating not vic but his fandom.
Heck even one of the examples used in that same list actually debunks Itself by posting that the statement that he was " with some girls by the pool" in the very next post. I found inumerable examples around the internet that were again unverifiable or outright lies.
I started to wonder why his fellow voice actors would get in on this. So I dug some digging into the voice actors themselves. I found something very peculiar, there's rumors about some of the others that are just like Vic's
The biggest one being that Christopher sabat has a casting couch, whether or not this is true is debatable because it's just like Vic mignogna rumors, not all that verifiable. I just found it very interesting that some voice actor shared the same kind of shade towards them.
Another thing I found interesting was some of hand comments made behind the scenes from Monica. She didn't even mention her traumatic experience she detailed in her deposition or on Twitter, who made the comment that everyone turned against them for a man who is just in one movie
Keep in mind this is a person that Monica seemingly trusted. Meaning that she didn't think that this person would put this comment in public eyes to see. In public she proclaims that fans are on their side and everyone is against big however this is not the case
It's undeniable I see overwhelming support for Vic mignogna as opposed to Monica Jamie Chris and all the others. This is a classic tactic that many Hollywood journalists and actors try to pull with actors they don't like so I'm not surprised that I see it here
I can go on and on about the many many claims about Vic mignogna what I can go on for days. Claims about him are still being made this day.
In Jamie's case she posted her story to ANN and talked about a traumatizing experience with her hair. I've seen in Vic mignogna deposition at this moment he did recall but it was entirely different context. However I see people using Vicks deposition as admission to guilt
He never admitted to trying to harass her, he just spoke with the situation in his context. At face value he could be lying however if you think about it it does make sense as opposed to Jamie story. Call Jamie described it is that she was having her hair pulled in the middle of
A room while people were watching. And supposedly nobody did anything. It's highly unlikely that no one would speak up to HR about this issue as soon as they saw it. If funimation's HR department was able to kick him out now why not then?
People might argue and say he has too much power to leave but, Vic doesn't have that kind of power in Funimation, Christopher sabat does. So already The Narrative that Vic mignogna was kept around in front of nation do the power money is a false narrative
He wasn't even there most popular voice actor, so him having that kind of power again is false.
As far as cold hard evidence against Vic mignogna to back up these claims well...
I will only be talkin about the people involved in the actual court case so I'm going to move on to one of the darker topics Ron Toya lll
Reason why this topic is a bit dark is because Ron's past was dug up in light of this court case. Ron Toye has a history of physical and mental abuse of his ex-wife. It is Court documented and measures have been taken already. I didn't think this was relevant at first but I think
Actually might. The thing is Monica defends Ron in saying that the wife was the real abuser despite no evidence of her knowing his ex-wife. This is especially troubling.
I could go on and on how Ron takes videos from people who posted their experiences with Vic, then the person tells Ron to stop using their video to slander Vic and he responds with pretty much what amounts to "no". But that part is way less concerning compared to my theory.
My theory is that Vic mignogna is a distraction. As soon as that Helena user posted something about Vic mignogna all the other actors jumped on it and pointed the finger on him. Why now why not before? You could say to save face but according to the them they had more than enough
I think a lot of voice actors are trying to hide something. Vic obviously had a troubled relationship with his ex which he was willing to elaborate on in his deposition but I think the other actors had something different.
My theory is that Vic mignogna was thrown under the bus to cover up the fact that all the other actors have engaged in inappropriate actions with fans. There are stories about Neil Kaplan Christopher sabat Sean schemmel, even video evidence of DC Douglas going into a girls
Bathroom. There could be more stories but the point is I think they're trying to steer attention away from themselves. I've browse through Twitter and its seemingly not working. I could go on and on about how the voice actors are being increasingly more inappropriate
Or how their actually taking a "Victory lap". But many people already know this. There is far more details here and there that I could explain but Twitter really isn't made for that so I'm keeping it somewhat focused on the participants in the case and their friends
The point I'm trying to make here is that #KickVic is showing classic signs of trying to cover up an internal scandal. The voice actors involved in the people that support them probably know things that they don't want other people to know.
I have seen lie after lie and things being taken out of context on the name to try to smear Vic. These tactics are what I see as desperate, there is a far darker underbelly that we're not seeing.
