The Rose is a 4 members band that debuted in 2017 under j&star (which didn’t pay them and overworked them, and now refused their request to end the contract).
the members are Woosung, Dojoon, Hajoon and Jaehyeong.

they debuted on august 3rd 2017 with the single “Sorry”, written by them.
before their official mainstream debut, they were a quite popular indie group known as “Windfall” in 2015 (just 3 of them, Woosung came later)

on november 1st 2017 they released their second single album with the song “Like We Used To”, this one written by them too
(yeah they wrote all of their songs lol)

on april 16, 2018 they released their first EP, Void, with 5 songs and 3 instrumental versions.
the EP contains Sorry and Like We Used To. the lead single is Baby

on october 4th 2018 they released their second EP, named Dawn.

their last release has been on august 24th 2020 with the song Black Rose, dedicated to their fans (the fandom name is Black Rose), on their new youtube channel (which isn’t related to j&star). the song is completely written and produced by them, and the mv is self-made

Kim Woosung (also known as Sammy), born on february 25th 1993; he’s from Los Angeles.
he’s the leader, lead vocalist and he plays the electric guitar. he’s friends with Day6’s Jae and KARD’s BM (he supports his Big Tiddie Gang campaign against breast cancer)

Park Dojoon, born on april 20th 1993, is the main vocalist, keyboardist of the band (he also plays the acoustic guitar). he has lived in New Zealand for 5 years and he loves italian food (YAY).
he’s currently at the military service, he went like 2 months ago (miss him so much)

Lee Hajoon, born on july 29th 1994.
he’s the drummer and a sub vocalist, sometimes he also raps.
he played the drums since he was young and he’s drum major since college. he love Girls Generation’s Taeyeon and he would like to collaborate with her

Lee Jaehyeong, born on november 3rd 1994 (maknae).
he’s the bassist and also a sub vocalist. he’s a huge fan of Coldplay (taste omg) and he’s said to be the “mom” of the group
