FALSE/Misleading CLAIM: "This week, the CDC quietly updated the Covid number to admit that only 6% of all the deaths recorded actually died from Covid."

Lots to unpack here. Bottom line: No, the CDC did not & #39;admit& #39; only 6% of deaths were due to COVID.

The CDC has been publishing this data since at least May, 9th.

Some, like diabetes, likely were... but the question is: "Would they have died if they hadn& #39;t contracted COVID?& #39;

If a death certificate includes both - it means the medical expert thought they were linked. (4/)
It helps to look at a death certificate. "Contributing conditions" don& #39;t remove the "underlying cause."

EX: "underlying cause" is a car crash, but the "immediate cause" was pneumonia.

The pneumonia diagnosis is not & #39;proof& #39; that the person didn& #39;t die from a car crash. (5/)
In the same way - "Respiratory failure" is 4th on the CDC list. It& #39;s one of the critical, often fatal symptoms FROM COVID-19.

The certificate would list respiratory failure as a complication, but the underlying cause would be COVID. (6/)
No, the CDC did not & #39;admit only 6% of deaths were due to COVID& #39; - (Video Version) (8/)
The CDC data does show that COVID deaths are more frequent in cases with certain conditions (high blood pressure, diabetes etc...) and ~92% of the deaths were in people older than 55.

But - they were all still COVID deaths. (Last for now!)
