Experiments fail. Shit happens. There can be a lot of trial and error to get things moving. But while it might seem like this year has been riddled with lab-based let downs, I promise you it isn't. 2/5
You're way more knowledgeable, experienced and skilled than the day you first walked through that lab/office door. That is progress. And that means you now have so much more to give. 3/5
Remain focused. Start strategising how this fits into the thesis. Keep picturing that research paper with your name in first author lights. Stay smart, kind and committed and you'll be forever important. 4/5
