Experiments fail. Shit happens. There can be a lot of trial and error to get things moving. But while it might seem like this year has been riddled with lab-based let downs, I promise you it isn& #39;t. 2/5
You& #39;re way more knowledgeable, experienced and skilled than the day you first walked through that lab/office door. That is progress. And that means you now have so much more to give. 3/5
Remain focused. Start strategising how this fits into the thesis. Keep picturing that research paper with your name in first author lights. Stay smart, kind and committed and you& #39;ll be forever important. 4/5
