i get asked a lot “why do you workout so much” lemme break it down
1. i started the gym instead of mind numbing drugs to work through shit
2. my anger issues i get out while pushing weight so i don’t end up punching you
3. got sexually assaulted by a guy 60lbs bigger so i feel..
the need to hold my own against everyone
4. my dad has never been in my life and it’s just something i need to prove in me i can be a better man
5. fucking getting swole and having confidence in something you work for day in and day out is the most rewarding feeling in the world
there’s more but that’s pretty much my reasoning. lifting to fit societal standards has never crossed my mind everyone is beautiful if you have a 6 pack, dad bod, skinny, chubby, or ANY body type. people who judge others bodies are projecting their own insecurities. fuck them b u
