For all of you who “won’t support the knights anymore”, took your stickers off of your car, etc. Ryan says it perfectly, you need to go. You can’t grow and diversify in a sport like hockey with that type of attitude around.
For anyone who says these athletes “protests” are against cops, give a listen, not once does he mention not supporting the work that good police officers do in our communities. Maybe some of the protestors out in the streets burning and rioting may think that but not the athletes
So as a big time @GoldenKnights fan, they and @reavo7five have my support until the end because I am not too nieve to realize that their fight is not against police officers, and that you can believe that police officers are good while knowing racism still exists in our world.
To add to this, I also am someone who thinks that when an event happens like it did to Mr. Blake, we need to wait and review the evidence and the truthfulness of what happened in the situation. But unfortunately that isn’t how things are happening these days.
