So theres been a lot of debate this week whether we should aim high or low so increase longevity & prevent freefalls.
Team A: debut the song as high as it can then let it fall cuz its not nicki’s song
Team C: debut low then rise to increase longevity
Both are wrong.

Heres the thing. Chart peaks do matter, however so do certifications.

If they see a song debut low theyre gonna decrease their audience. If they see a song freefall second week they will do the same. So either way we lose and the song will peak then take ages to go gold or platinum.
Heres my solution. The first week our aim should always be top 20. Nomatter what. However we need a specific strategy of how we want to divide the sales we make per week.
Example: 25k first week, 40k second week, 15k 3rd week
If we keep the song stable radios AND playlist generators will increase audiences weekly making it be stable from those all by itself eventually.
We NEED to have radio request and shazam parties EVERY DAY. During the first 3 weeks of release. We are not like other fanbases, we need to put in the work for it.
We also NEED to improve streaming. There are some songs (mood swings) who are carried on the charts by streams alone. If we even get half the amount of streams while adding the pure sales & the radio/playlisting. Well be stable.
So my strategy rn for this week is: we all buy the clean version of expensive rn on itunes and get it top 10. Then if its getting tough the last few days we mass buy on the website and get at least 10k sales from there. Secured debut.
We also should assign ONE playlist to a certain amount of barbz (example: 5k) who have an extra device that can play it 24/7 and see if our daily streams rise.
Expensive is our experiment and it’s obvious these throw away features are nicki’s management finding the strengths & weaknesses before her official album rollout.

I forgot to add that IF we remain stable and obtain the radio play & playlisting over weeks then certifications and popularity will increase. Radio & playlisting are todays key factors into making songs go platinum, diamond etc.
