Did I tell yal the day my cuzn stole his parents car and we got into an accident and I flew out the window and I couldn’t even tell my parents ...my face was swollen and I had to lie and say it was allergies ..Yoh that cover up story was a mess

So it was on a Friday night ,Yerr I remember this night so clearly
We were 16 and we did what every 16 year old was doing at the time ...getting ready for YOUTH ! ..tbh we didn’t go there for god or church but for GIRLS at the time

Aike cool ... we getting ready ..and my boy (cousin ) is like “yo let’s take my parents car” tbh I was hesitant at the time bec I couldn’t drive nor could he ..but he was so convinced he could ..and he was like 8 months older than me so nje I saw him as a big brother (stupid)

My parents were always working till late plus I told them I’m sleeping over as usual so they didn’t bother
My cousin parents went on some church trip ( extremely religious ) so nje we practically had a weekend to ourselves ! And they didn’t even know bec we finessed them

So obviously my cousin’s parents went with one car so they left the other ...it was a ford sapphire ..we liked it and thought it’s cool bec it looked like the car from Robo cop
That time it was loud af so bonus !

We get out ,the yard ...this idiot decides to tramp the car!
Now we on 1st gear doing 80km the car is over revving and it’s a mess ..
Eventually after 5 min within driving ..he learns to change on time .. .my anxiety drops as I get comfortable

Youth is about 20 min away from us ... (walking) ..driving id say 8-10 min easily .. but this guy decides he wants to go and see other babies before youth ..moss he is now comfortable driving so he wants to show everyone and anyone from school ..
We drive to pinetown !

Next thing ..we hear a loud noise ..... at the time we didn’t know what it was (tire popped ) and the car just started swaying left and right ...instead of this gent slowing down he maintains speed

From there ...my memory became a bit fuzzy till date

I’d only get random flashbacks as the years went on and I’d start to remember abit more detail
But apprently I flew out the window and I was out for 2 hours straight !

That’s not even the funny part.... the wild part is this boy “lost my body for 2 hours “ .. as in he couldn’t find me

I was like on the other end of the accident zone passed out cold
Fractured leg and dislocated elbow
I won’t even talk about the cuts on my neck

I was only found bec some random YT guy stopped and called the ambulance .. Bru all I remember was going to youth at 5 pm next thing I wake up in the hospital at 11 pm
Confused af .. druged up ,so atleast I wasn’t in pain at the time

Lucky me my uncle was really cool so when I woke up they asked me about my parents he was the first person I told to call
I don’t know how he did it but we spoke to them for like hours (I think bribing) cops and everyone not to further investigate how this all happened

He took me to his place,Yoh was I not in pain when the meds started fading
My cousin wasn’t hurt that much ..actually just bruises and cuts ..I think it’s bec he had his seat belt on and I didn’t
I swear to God till date u will never catch me without wearing my belt

Lucky us ..this happened on Friday so we had a weekend to regroup at my uncles place and figure out how we gonna flip this story
My cousin had to lie and say they broke in at home at stole the car
We then had to go and dump the car in some random place and report it stolen

That was easy bec like I said my uncle was cool and connected ..and this is Durban Bru Lol .. 6klipa will get u documents/ accident cases “missing”
Now since the car story (damage ) was taken care of
How do we explain my injuries and pain

We came up with the story of how when the guys were breaking in at my cousins house ..we were hiding in the roof/ceiling and some how I feel from the roof hence my pain and why I’m limping ...the other injuries like the cuts I had to wear tracksuits for weeks to hide

Everything died down quick and was believable bec there was just a lot happing our parents couldn’t process the car getting stolen
It being damaged
Us being in the roof and falling so they let it slide ..as long as we were safe

Fast foward 3 weeks later ... my mother notices I’m having troubling studying ... moss my pain killers are finish and I’m still in pain and I’m acting strong
I can’t ask for more bec why do I need more if I just feel from the ceiling ...

Then a mother’s instinct kicked in ... she’s like “why are u only wearing tracksuits “
She rips my jacket off before I can answer and just sees bruises all over my body and I also start tearing up bec wow I’m caught and naye she’s also handling me rough

I can see she is mad but also hurt but she maintains composure and takes me to the hospital ( I don’t know how but the woman takes me to the same dam hospital I was at 3 weeks ago )
Did the doctor not pull up my record on “but this child was here on this date due to accident

Injuries “ she is shook and confused

Ok cool she mizes that and says she will deal with it later ..now she asks the doctor why do I have bruises all over ..like I’m purple !
Only to find out I have internal bleeding by my thigh and ribs..

Apparently doctor said I was suppose to come back that Monday for an additional x ray and check up but obv I didn’t go bec we assumed I’d be grand and we had a whole story of lies moss ..
Fast foward my dad is involved ..my cousins parents get called
My uncle gets into oak
