Two week trip to the south of France and back 🚙
First day in France 🇫🇷

This is the start of a 2 week food diary.

- Fillet steak with potato rosti 🥩

Made it to destination 2 🇫🇷

Annecy📍

Beautiful hotel on the lake. Water is so blue. Can’t wait for dinner.

Objective is to drive to Cannes in the south and back ✅

Night 2 in France this time in a lakeside brasserie 🍴

- Antipasti 🥓
- Lemon sole 🍋🐠
- Biggest rib of beef ever for 1 🥩
This beef and brie burger was 😋
Last night was fine dining evening. 8 courses and therefore 2 tweets required.
And to finish... great experience.

What made it better is none of this was on the menu. We didn’t know what was coming next and the chef was making it up a dish at a time 🇫🇷👍🏻😅
Are you even in France if you haven’t eaten Moules Frites by the water? 🇫🇷

Rustic evening in a French port 🇫🇷🛳

- Scallops and Mussel gratin 🦪
- Lamb shank 🐑

Not as aesthetically pleasing as the other images but just as delicious.
The lunchtime rush in Bandol📍

Now we’re in the south and it’s 28 degrees ☀️

- Melon and Parma ham 🍉🥓
- Chicken supreme in satay sauce 🍗🥜
- Glass of rosé to finish because I’m in the French Riviera 🍷
Last night we found a French-Thai fusion restaurant which was great. So great, that we’re going again for lunch.

- Thai sharing platter with fresh calamari, duck spring rolls, salmon tataki & panko prawns 🦑🍤
- Thai prawn coconut curry 🦐
- Freshly caught Tuna with risotto 🐟
Followed up brilliantly for lunch.

- Thai duck curry 🦆
- Beef burger with delicious chips 🍔🍟
- Tiramisu 🧁☕️
