// OK, kind of serious + nonserious thread for people in the disney / animation verses that haven't watched The Owl House yet!!

Here's a thread with some info on the series + some cool things about it that make me recommend it (not just coming from a TOH RPer.)
In General: The Owl House is created by Dana Terrace, who's art is AMAZING and who's previously worked on Gravity Falls!!

TOH is about a Dominican-American girl named Luz who spends her summer in the Demon Realm learning magic from a powerful witch named Eda.
There's currently 19 episodes, and the season finale just happened, so hype for the show is in full swing right now, pretty much.
First off: Luz, the protagonist, is Disney's first canonical bi lead for a TV show!

Her love interest, Amity, is shown to have a crush on Luz first, so... She's also shown in the show to be WLW!
TOH is also breaking gender norm. Characters are shown to like things that are "meant for" the opposite gender, casually use they/them pronouns for characters... (Well, the ghost is never shown in show, but the use of those pronouns in general means a lot to me, a nb person!)
THE FIGHTING SCENES ANIMATIONS!!!

Not really talking about rep, but the fight animations are SO GOOD. Especially the one in the first part of the season finale, but that's kind of spoiler-y territory.

Here's a video of a fight from episode 5!
As an Eda RPer I'm obligated to make a part of this thread talking about how good she is.

Here's a little video of some of her scenes where she's REALLY GOOD, from episodes 1-5!
ALSO TO ADD: THE PLOT.

There's a lot of plot things that still haven't been hashed out completely, such as Emperor Belos' intentions, the aftermaths of the season finale, and something about Luz and her family we learn near the end of the season, too.

There's so much potential!
As for the plot so far, there's a lot of fun episodes exploring Luz joining a school for witches, Eda's search for someone who's placed a curse on her, exploring the world of the Boiling Isles (where the show takes place), etc.

There's a lot of cute character interactions!
I may or may not add on to this in the future, but it's 11 AM and I haven't slept in like, 21 hours now, so. I'm going to head to snoozetown.

Hopefully this got some people interested in TOH!!! In the tweet below this one, I've added some links to places to watch it.
You can watch TOH Iegally on DisneyNOW.

You can also watch it iIIegally at https://www.theowlclub.net/  ! (The website is in Spanish, but easy to navigate even if you don't understand the language.)

You can also check out this link that Perry's supplied! https://madridista-again.tumblr.com/post/627775715877748736/the-owl-house-young-blood-old-souls-full
( While hopefully you can try and watch the show Iegally, I understand that it's hard for some people to do so, which is why I've provided links to other websites. Please watch it Iegally if you can!!)
Okay updating this thread!

Tonight in an AMA, Dana Terrace confirmed that Amity Blight is a lesbian, making her (afaik), Disney's first confirmed lesbian character on their channel!!!
