Since a few other people are doing it, I decided to make my own thread of unpopular DB opinions that I'll be updating from time to time.

Some of these unpopular opinions I may have already stated before, while some I might not have.

#1. Super Saiyan 3 sucks and it's the worst Super Saiyan transformation in the series. It's like SS Grade 3 in terms of it's energy drain, except much worse, and it accomplishes basically nothing.

Hell, in the Universe Survival Arc, when form cycling against Jiren, Goku skips from Super Saiyan 2 to Super Saiyan God. And Super Saiyan 3 only appears a couple of times in Super.

But the absolute worst things about Super Saiyan 3 is that it's reveal comes out of nowhere and it makes Goku seem like a retroactive liar when he said that he was going all-out against Majin Vegeta and was going to end this quickly.

Additionally, Goku reveals he could have defeated Fat Boo with Super Saiyan 3, which means there are two instances he could have stopped the threat of Majin Boo, but didn't. I have problems with the handling of many SS forms, including the lackluster reveal of SSB.

However, this is one of the only transformations that I'd want to remove entirely if I were rewriting Dragon Ball. Some people share this opinion (), but it's pretty unpopular, so I figured it belongs on this thread.
