Thread : based on my understanding and inputs received.
1. IA observed movement on China side.

6. Reports SSF has been activated.
7. SSF : special frontier force and it's not part of indian army rather it's part of RAW
8. Vikas Regiment : Vikas is the name given to various battalions in SFF. It is composed of 7 Vikas Battalions and 1 Para Gurkhas aka “1 Archers” Battalion

SFF is similar to Indian Army Para Regiment composing off both Airborne Battalions and Special Forces Battalion. While the Airborne Battalions train for behind the enemy lines warfare which include guerrilla warfare , Direct Action and Sabotage.
