so yes the subdrop namgi thread is definitely me projecting and i’m definitely identifying hard with yoongi. a lot of you guys are taking that to mean it’s hard to find your yoongi

but think of it this way. for me, i Am that yoongi. that’s not a brag. that’s me reminding you that the person for ME who is wonderful and exciting and perfect and hard to find is NAMJOON. the perspective i wanted to give voice to was NAMJOON’S

so take a minute and think about the fact that if namjoon is who YOU are identifying with, that makes YOU the exciting one. that makes YOU the delightful and inspiring person who i wanted to step into the shoes of. that makes YOU the one whose story i thought was worth telling

i really struggled with the outline of this thread because i didn’t want to send a message that the namjoon’s of the world NEED a yoongi to be okay, and hopefully by the time it’s actually finished you’ll see that. for him, and for yourself.

in the original concept they don’t even end up together. but i decided that while it’s important to remind us that subs don’t need doms to be good and to be worthy of love, it’s what they deserve. so yeah they end up finding each other, end up working out. but they didn’t have to

try not to think of yourself as someone who will never find a dom like yoongi. JOON wasn’t even meant to end up with yoongi. but that doesn’t make him any less of a good boy, and that never made his story any less worth telling to me. your story is worth telling, too ♥︎
