the fact that people who don't want to bother with: avoiding 3 C's, wearing a mask, nor practicing social distancing when needed - are citing the recent CDC report on underlying conditions as an excuse - shows the importance of teaching critical thinking in our school systems
2/
question you need to ask those who share that report as proof they think COVID-19 stats overblown, is this:

"when a COVID-19 death occurs - would that individual have died from their underlying conditions as soon or at all, if they hadn't contracted COVID?"

No, of course not
3/
Note, the 3 C's are:

- Closed spaces with no ventilation
- Crowded places
- Close contact

Dr. Howard Njoo, Cda’s Deputy CPHO, asks that Cdns avoid the 3 C's whenever possible. When unavoidable - practice measures such as mask wearing, physical distancing & hand washing
