The cops hinder accessibility and are hazards to people w/ disabilities. First #PortlandME police’s parking job took up the bus lane, so the bus couldn’t pull up to the...bus stop.

Then when the dump truck from the city came to trash people’s belongings it drove up on the sidewalk and blocking the accessible curb. So when a person using a wheelchair needed to get on the sidewalk/use it, they couldn’t b/c of #PortlandME police activity #accessibilityjustice

People experiencing homelessness in #PortlandME have shared what they need, which in part is the end of criminalizing existence.

Cops criminalize Black, POC, houseless, non-property owning people daily. That is their job.

Here the cop asks a person if they’re going to continue to act disorderly, in order to prime his arrest (he was not arrested during this interaction). This is while the cop is destroying property (which I’ve heard is a no-no in some circles). #copwatch #PortlandME

#PortlandME police destroyed the property of the houseless this morning. Their salaries could be better used for creating safe/free/accessible housing, safe injection sites, etc.

And then this #PortlandME cop took a stroll with me and then hopped in his cruiser and followed me for several blocks cause that’s mature and professional. Nothing like some good ole cop intimidation to start off the week.
