Might be getting ahead of myself here, because the series isn’t over yet, but if you’re expecting big changes on the Flyers roster, I think you’re going to be disappointed. The flat cap is going to make changes hard & I’m not sold big changes are needed anyhow.
The playoffs have been a bit of a dud. But they’re hard to quantify because of the pause, the bubble situation & the craziness of the world. Look at Colorado or Boston-they’re in the same spot & I doubt they’re looking at massive change.
That’s not to say I am not against making changes, but I trust Fletcher & realize the cap situation isn’t ideal. Also, the Flyers are a pretty good team as presently constructed. They underperformed in the playoffs, just like Tampa last year. Sometimes it takes a bloody nose.
Also, a lot of “change” is gonna be internal. Lindblom being back is huge. A healthy Patrick is a potentially massive 3C upgrade. Frost is going to push to make the roster. Kids like Zamula & Friedman could be on the roster
