I had the worst and longest 2 hours of my life when I got a phone call yesterday afternoon that Amiyah was in a car wreck (picture below) with her aunt.... I was like "Haaaaaaaa! Wreck kehhh"... so-
I was told they would find out what the situation was and give me a call back. I have never been that scared. I was terrified... I cried 😭😭😭. I was restless, and was like "I'm over 850 miles away from home. What am I gonna do? God pleaseee 😭".
I called several times but no one answered.... "why is no one answering? 😭😭😭 Amiyah pleaseee don't do this to daddy dakun ooo" I sat down close to my phone, patiently waiting for that call... None came in. I was like "damn! Why is it taking soo long? What could have happened?"
I tweeted this (picture below) and received bunch of messages from people asking what happened . I couldn't give details but I asked them to keep my family in their prayers!....
I needed someone to talk to so bad... i was going to call my mom and tell her what happened, but mehn that woman is a drama queen, she would first shout "Jesuuuuuuuuuuuuu ha Oluwa ooooooooo" So I was like Nah! I tried making few calls again... No one answered. I was about to call
My boss that I would probably need to fly home asap. My phone rang! It was Amiyah's grandma calling me via video call on Facebook. I climbed my bed! "Haaa! God! This is the call I have been waiting for!" I practiced some breathing techniques, stretched, and tears rolled down my..
Eyes again. So I answered! It was Amiyah!!!! I was like "Yaaaaaaay! Aduke mi oooooo! Iya Duduke fun ra rae! Omo Iwò olódo obá, ọmọ àténigbọ́la, ọmọ àténigbọ́ré. Omo Okiki fun rae! Obirin metala ninu eyokan! Enu ja wire!

Small girl with gbongbola heart🕺🏿🕺🏿"
You are even with Duduke! "Agbohun iya, atun gbo ti omo (we heard voice of mom and child". Put Duduke down and talk to Daddy now... abi you are not happy to see daddy ni? She was like "😑😑😑".
I asked "How are you baby? Are you okay? What happened? "Ha! You are drinking milk ni? She said "I'm so thirsty daddy, wait let me finish" ha! Drink your milk Aduke. O to ki o thirsty baby! Omo ologo 6G!" She daddy " our car wreckeddd" I was like "Ehn Ehn.. Tell me more please"
She noticed my eyes, so she asked "are you crying daddy?" I said I was but not anymore... "were you scared" I said I was but I was glad I'm talking to her. She said again "I'm fine, but it was scary... That guy drove in front of our car... my side hurts a little bit, but...
The doctor said I'm fine. Ha! Your side keh? Oya put the phone down let me see it. She showed me. I said, well it looks fine.. oya turn around and let me see your arms and body! Show me! She yelled "Daddy I'm fine. I have seen the doctor". First of, I am your daddy, your doctor..
And your friend and everything" so you are okay when I say you are.

Second of, we don't have to argue now, we will do that when I return.

She sha showed me! She gave me the gist. My daughter is a good storyteller abeg! Mo gbedi fun omo yen! She didnt go to sleep till i read
