404 Ink book submissions are OPEN!

You can find full info on what we're looking for here: https://www.404ink.com/submissions

Here are some bullet points for you in thread form too.
⏲️ We're open 31st August to 31st October 2020 for book submissions.
📚 We're looking for novels, short story & poetry collections, non-fiction books and pitches. (no children's books, sorry!)
🗓️ We'd hope for the books we sign during this period to come out in 2021/2022.
🙏 We've simplified the process. No more chapter breakdowns or cover letters, just some words about you, your book, why you'd be suited to us & some sample pages.
🥧 We're open to agented and unagented writers. (pie emoji 'cause agents take a slice of the pie, get it?!)
✍️ We've put together a tips & information page in FAQ style. Check it out for lots more detail: https://www.404ink.com/submissions-tips-information

If we've missed an obvious question, tell us, we'll add it.
🔓 In an attempt to be less gate-keeper-y, we've also created a page of case studies about our non-fiction titles - how they were submitted to us and why we published them: https://www.404ink.com/submissions-case-studies

They all came to us in different ways & maybe you have an unusual pitch for us?!
❓ We're going to be opening a different submissions window in mid-September for a new short-form, non-fiction project. More coming soon. If you have an inkling that your idea is more suited for that, we recommend keeping your eyes peeled.
We'll be on Twitter intermittently throughout the day to answer any questions that aren't covered on our website, or any general queries.
