According to Terry George, the film& #39;s director, problems between the two Pauls (Rusesabagina and Kagame) only started after Rusesabagina criticised Kagame& #39;s record as a war criminal.
Now that Rusesabagina is in jail, it will be interesting to see how the international community reacts. Rusesabagina is a recipient of the highest civilian award in the US, the presidential medal of freedom.
