There are so many anime inspired MVs nowadays..: I remember a while ago a tumblr post I think? Saying something like those who watched anime in their childhood are now getting famous and I’m like yeah it shows! But also. Wait, what? Just now?

What about those who grew up with Japanese animation in the late 70s/80s? Then I remembered that the Italian case is much different than the rest of the world lmao. Anime — dubbed anime here has been a thing for much longer than the rest of the world

I remember a very good thread that I can’t really find rn but it has to do with it being very cheap entertainment that made very big numbers or something
And it’s been so ingrained here that it’s weird to think that some might not know some titles that here were BIG

Yes I’m especially talking about aishite knight and the fact that it had an ITALIAN LIVE ACTION ADAPTATION

But yeah it’s just a random thought I had...... it’s weird that “MVs are getting anime’d now” when we actually had La Regina del Celebrità and to some extent Nient’altro che noi both in 1999 and those are Very anime inspired

... so much so that one very iconic sequence is straight up ripped from ranma 1/2 but we don’t talk about that
