ok last few things bc i need to go write and stop being mad on the tl lmao

- contacts v glasses is weird. i prefer that glasses r less invasive, but contacts greatly reduce my anxiety of vision access + make me more “able” bc they dont break if i hike or play sports

- there are massive, ridiculous price differences between levels of vision impairments, even on “cheap” glasses websites. i miss being under -4.0 (which tends to be the cutoff for one type of price jump) lmao its been like ~10 yrs since i paid less than $200 for glasses

- lasik isnt an option for a lot of people for a lot of reasons, stop asking us when we’re going to get it!!!! there are a LOT of reasons people can’t get lasik!!!

- kinda random but i’d be absolutely dead in a zombie apocalypse or other dystopian setting and i think about that a lot. my dependence on vision technology is something i am intimately aware of every day, but especially as i’ve grown more critical of capitalism
