This is something I've said before, but I know someone needed to hear this today, so I'm repeating it:

Being a teen/young adult is freaking hard. Add a pandemic on top of that, and you have massive, herculean challenges. (thread)
But, in spite of all of that, you're here. You can read this tweet. That, alone, is amazing. You may not be thriving. You may not even feel like you're surviving, but you're still here. You are a pioneer. You are a hero. You are one who is somehow enduring.
You are doing something your parents or grandparents or maybe even great-grandparents never had to do: Dealing with a pandemic at your age. That's huge. Hasn't happened in a century. Your yolk has been unexpectedly burdened with an additional load.

And yet, you're still here.
These words don't make things much easier, I know. I just want to acknowledge the work you are doing. The efforts you are making. The fact that, in spite of everything, you are trying.

And that, quite simply, makes *you* awesome.

Please, if you can, make it a great day. :)
