I distinguish between "the woke" or "wokesters" and utopian/principled social justice advocates. A principled social justice advocate is mostly utilitarian and has proper reverence for John Rawls's original position argument.

They behave with a friendly disposition which decreases alienation and are considerate to all people and points of view. This is in contrast to the wokesters. In this thread I will keep a list of the unprincipled, small-minded, and cruel behaviors that I associate with wokesters.

• are pro-deplatforming
• believe black people can't be racist
• minimize solidarity between privileged allies and marginalized people

• are insensitive to the vast expanse of possible individual privileges (e.g. ageism, sleep disorders, having unpopular opinions, people who have committed unpopular but not evil deeds, "irredeemable" or "unsalvageable" people, heightism, etc.)

• instead strictly focus on arbitrarily specific categories of tolerable marginalized statuses (e.g. sexism, racism, homophobia, etc.)

• use shaming to enforce conformity (note the absurd hypocrisy of this)
• destroy and loot small businesses in times of civil unrest
• deny the existence of cancel culture
