Over the past few months, I& #39;ve been working on acquiring what I am calling "The MBA Stack" - a series of online courses to gain the skills needed for this new economy - (a thread https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="👇" title="Rückhand Zeigefinger nach unten" aria-label="Emoji: Rückhand Zeigefinger nach unten">)
I first took a Stanford Continuing studies course with @JulietErickson_ on Biz Presence and Communications - a big takeaway being that in any business conversation, begin with the end in mind.
Second, I took @profgalloway& #39;s @section_four #profg Strategy course in June, which distills how and why customers make decisions. We learned about the "T-Algorithm" and how the most successful biz& #39;s appeal to a key human instinct.
At the same time, I enrolled in @theSamParr and @gaganbiyani& #39;s Trends Course. It was a masterclass on how to spot new business trends and opportunities, and to put yourself in your potential customer& #39;s shoes.
Finally, in July, I took part in @david_perell& #39;s Write of Passage course, which was invaluable in giving me a kick in the pants to actually start writing, and creating my own content. I also got to know amazing fellow writers+human beings.
For my next "semester", I am enrolled in @fortelabs Building a Second Brain which starts Monday. I& #39;m looking to learn here how to better organize my thoughts and get things done.
To paraphrase @RyanHoliday, if there is a good educational opportunity, I would not let time/$/etc. prevent me from having it.
Everyone& #39;s own "MBA Stack" will be different depending on what specific skills you want to learn, but I would recommend you do some research into courses that match these skills, and start learning!
