Flyers fans acting like losing this series is the end of the road for this team when it is very much the… opposite
Like, I get it. Disappointment upon the (likely) loss of a playoff series sucks. The potential for the team to reach possibly the Conference Final was high, given how they ended the regular season. That’s fair
However, this team didn’t play with Nolan Patrick AT ALL this year. Lindblom missed the majority of the season. Carter Hart is legit. Frost, Ratcliffe, and Zamula are in the pipeline. There’s so much to look forward to
The saddest part, for me, is that… after the end of this series, when will we see the team play again? Who knows what hockey will be like after this bubble playoff with coronavirus still around and kicking.
Again, I don't want to tell people how to deal with their sports sadness but... some of y'all need to get some perspective on the future of this Flyers team. This season won't be their only chance at a Stanley Cup with this team
Also, saying this team “didn’t want it enough to win it for Lindblom” feels… not great!!!
