I m sorry.

This is simply not true & this attitude doesn't exactly help our cause.

What is our cause?
To remove BJP out of the power & It is possible only if we convince a considerable proportion of those who voted for BJP in 2019, to not repeat the same in 2024.

How is it not true?

BJP is literally occupying the position of power & dominance, using propaganda as its principal weapon, the opponents continue to underestimate the role of propaganda & end up attributing BJP's success to several divergent factors.

+
We simply fail to fully acknowledge the power of propaganda & money.

Many of the 38% vote share BJP got in 2019 are victims of propoganda.

For eg: My friends who are neither bigots nor do they hate Muslims but they have voted for BJP for various reasons.
+
Don't forget that those who voted for BJP includes:
* Uneducated mass, who are not privileged enough to read articles to understand what happened in 2002
* Women who are stuck inside 4 walls.
* Daily wage labourers, who has no time to read those articles.
* Those who were born after 2000
* Naive optimists.
* Those who are ready to sell their eemaan for money or alcohol
*Etc.,

So, please stop putting everybody into a single bracket. Shaming somebody for something which they never did doesn't help our cause.

+
Please do talk to your friends. Understand the reasons for why they voted for BJP. Try to convince them based on those exact reasons on why they voted for BJP in the first place. Don't lose hope.

Share your experience, so that it can be replicated by others.
Finally, stop calling somebody names like 'closeted bigot' just because you don't understand the nuance.
