I’m not going anywhere.

I’ll still be here to say “Good Morning,” and I’ll still end most of my tweets with “Cheers.”

I’ll still be smiling as I tweet, and I will eagerly await any and all replies.

So what exactly is changing?

Since getting serious back in April, my sole focus has been on new follower growth.

And, I’ve done pretty well...3,369 as we speak.

For about the last month, a question started rattling in my brain..

“Why do you care about growth?”

5. Who Am I?

- I am a husband
- I am a father
- I am a teacher
- I am a coach
- I am an erudite
- I am an athlete

These things are me in real life.

These things need to be me in my Twitter life.

My online presence needs to reflect these things.

Right now, it doesn’t.

6. Why should you care?

You should care because YOU need to figure out WHY you are here.

WHAT are YOU going to do with this marvelous platform?

If you are building your network, WHY are you building it?

Answer these questions..
..and you are GOLDEN.

I am answering them.

7. My plan(ish)

I’m not limiting myself to Twitter.

I will teach what I know

- family
- health
- erudition
- teaching

...in as many venues as possible.

Twitter helped me clarify my ambitions.

I will repay Twitter by building a business worthy of a large network.
