All the Big Ones have been discussed, debated, done to hell and back.
The end result is? We're tired

B/H/Th/imbo kink isn't ableist. Weight gain isn't immoral. Pokemon sonas aren't goddamn zoo, and yes, even your worst squick isn't morally reprehensible.
Why?

Because, as grown adults (and mostly queer adults) we've spent our time in the furry fandom exploring sexuality, but in a more... educational sense. It's like taking a university class. We find out what makes us tick, what makes other people tick, and stopped condemming them

based solely on pre-conceived notions from growing up.
I mean, goddamn, I bet high school sex ed didn't even tall y'all what a dental dam is, let alone make you start thinking about why something is taboo in society, and why when consenting adults agree it's different.

Public opinion of furries is still the CSI episode. Most people think of us as the weirdoes that dress up in animal costumes and fuck real life animals. But we're not. You know that furries don't want to fuck real animals, right? Yes, even ones with feral OCs.

Giant asterisk there, some people are gross as hell. But, you know, MLP OCs aren't a sign of a zoophile.

So before you start demanding sweeping change of conventional norms in furry society, just, honestly, and in the nicest way possible? Grow up first.

Get some life experience. Take college classes on sexuality. Learn LGBT history. Because deviance from the norm isn't inherently immoral, and that's what our fight to exist has always been about. Figure out your own sexual identity shit and get it sorted. Then we can talk some.
