It has been more than 10 months now to one of the most interesting and thrilling elections in the Indian history – the Maharashtra elections. Soon after the elections got over, several so called “UNBIASED” journalists started writing books on the entire episode.
After reading, analyzing and comparing all the 3 books written on the 2019 elections,I feel that a lot of the things written in these books are either fake stories or come from the imagination of the authors, and are written to malign the image of @Dev_Fadnavis and @BJP4India
Today I am going to expose one such author @ss_suryawanshi who authored the book “Checkmate”. Sudhir Suryawanshi in his book “Checkmate” writes that according to Eknath Khadse, the arrogance of the BJP government was the reason behind their defeat. Defeat??
Does winning 105 seats and emerging as the single largest party mean defeat? Next, he says that before the polls, the BJP was confident of winning 220 seats, but once the results were declared it became evident that it could not even cross the halfway mark.
The truth is that the BJP had never claimed that it will win 220 seats. Why and how would it, when it had decided to contest on just 164 seats.
The 220 seats was for the BJP-Sena alliance. The author thinks that the readers are naïve, and that he can get away with comparing 220 seats with 105 seats just to prove how worst the BJP had performed.
This author then writes that Sharad Pawar achieved a miracle by winning 54 seats and losing 10 by thin margin. So according to this author winning 54 seats was an achievement and a miracle, while winning 105 seats was a defeat?
Lying blatantly, he tells the readers that MAJORITY of the youth voted for the NCP and its young candidates. Where did all those votes go and why did the votes not convert into seats?
He then tries to detail out how and why the Maha Vikas Aghadi was formed. Apparently, Uddhav Thackeray’s wife Rashmi Thackeray was instrumental in persuading her husband and son to plunge into electoral politics.
Even before the results were announced, Sanjay Raut had earlier met the NCP chief at Silver Oak in Mumbai. In this meeting, Uddhav Thackeray was on the phone and Pawar and Thackeray had spoken for some time.
Raut had conveyed Matoshree's message that Sena and the NCP needed to work together. Raut said that "Vahinisaheb', Uddhav Thackeray's politicially astute wife, Rashmi, also his key adviser, had decided that the Shiv Sena would not go with the BJP anymore.
She believed that the Sena should look for alternatives to fulfil HER and her father-in-law Bal Thackeray's wish. Raut had reassured Pawar that Sena was ready to join hands with the NCP and Congress.
Raut said to him that Vahinisaheb strongly wanted the Shiv Sena to get the CM post and that Aaditya thackeray was the best contender. So all this drama was because Rashmi Thackeray wanted her undeserving son to be the CM.
Aaditya Thackeray had several times said that his mother does not iterfere in politics and did not want him to go into politics. Was he lying all this time? Or is the author just making up stories? One of them must be lying.
@ss_suryawanshi says that Raut had visited Pawar's residence when the latter was served the ED notice and Raut had plans of bringing the NCP and the Sena together. So the Shiv Sena already had plans to form the government without BJP even before the elections were conducted?
Before the elections, Supriya Sule had also called Rashmi Thackeray and had assured that the NCP and Congress were with them. So are Rashmi Thackeray and Supriya Sule responsible for what is happening in our state today?
The author says "The BJP president, Amit Shah, had been touted as the modern day Chanakya by a certain section of the media. However, in 2019, Sharad Pawar showed the country who the real Chankya was when it comes to politics".
The only thing I would like to say to this fake PR paid author of Sharad Pawar is to wait. It is not the end; the end always must be right. If it is not right, it is not the end!
I have many more revelations to make and will post many more tweets in the coming few days. I promise they will be eye openers for many. Respecting the length of the thread, I am going to post part 2 of this thread tonight, so watch out this space.
