One of the best walk-ons in college football history. Clemson's best #13, Hunter Renfrow (2015-18):

-2x national champ
-2x 3rd-Team All-ACC
-Burlsworth Trophy
-Bobby Bowden Award
-#1 starts by a WR (47)
-#5 career receptions (186)
-#11 career rec. yards (2,133)
-captain
With all due respect to Clemson's long lineage of great 13s, including one of the winningest QBs in school history, Rodney Williams, a pair of great receivers in Tyler Grisham and Adam Humphries, and All-ACC DB Rex Varn, none of them have had the impact that Hunter Renfrow had.
"Big Game Hunter" made a career of making big plays in bigger moments. An original walk-on who earned a scholarship in 2015, Renfrow made some of the clutches plays in Clemson history. No player in college football history has more TD catches in College Football Playoff games.
Renfrow didn’t lead the Tigers in receiving yards in any of his 4 seasons, but he was always the player Clemson quarterbacks looked to when they needed a big play. “3rd and Renfrow” has 54 career receptions on 3rd down with 43 resulting in 1st downs.
It's hard to imagine someone becoming one of the best WRs in school history without ever recording a 100-yard game, but that's exactly what Renfrow did. Renfrow, who has the most starts and is tied for the most snaps ever by a Clemson WR, had a catch in a record 43 straight games
Renfrow, an unassuming, 5’10”, 2-star recruit, utilized his otherworldly route running ability and incredible hands to create separation against some of the nation’s best defenders to make numerous spectacular and game-changing plays in a Clemson uniform.
The college football world was introduced to Hunter Renfrow during the 2015 College Football Playoff. Renfrow a redshirt freshman, had just 2 TDs in the regular season before exploding in the Playoff with a TD in the Orange Bowl and 2 TDs in The CFP National Championship.
