. @EsportsArena keeps running local tournaments for games nationwide despite the dangers of the pandemic. they are endangering members of the gaming community and exposing people to unnecessary risk while the rest of the community is trying to do what is right.

In a time when our local communities are suffering and unable to be together, a large company is trying to wrestle in and take over in the void. This is irresponsible and shows a deep disregard for the communities that have been built, and needs to stop

Locals are NOT SAFE. They will not BE SAFE until the pandemic is over. Full stop.

i’ve also sent this post directly to the esports arena suggestion channel in discord. my goal is not to simply talk shit about the organization, or cause problems. I want the feedback to be taken to heart and for real change to occur. It’s a simple as that.
