Tomorrow I begin sorting books for the big move. I’ll be dividing them into categories:

1. Keepers
2. Shouldn’t keep but taking anyway
3. Oh wow I hadn’t thought about book in ages, I should keep it
4. Other books I’m keeping

I have four different editions of the complete works of Poe and four different justifications for keeping all of them:

1 is a fine-quality hardcover
2 has lovely illustrations
3 has a cover I like
4 has my old notes in the margins

Ok, I’m tossing this biography of Norman Mailer tho, no idea how it even got here
